“Open Mike” - Animated Short

Hello friends and family!

We are raising funds to make a 4 minute animated short, directed by Sarah and written by Adam. (It’s a short version of a TV pilot written by Adam.)

Why should you give us money? Because we want to make you chuckle and possibly even chortle with our animated short film. We have been passionately developing a long-form show for quite a while and we would love the opportunity to bring it to life in the form of an animated short. All so we can share a taste of Mike with the world (and hopefully convince others that he deserves a pilot, too!). Also it will be so much fun!!!!

Here's a bit more about the show…

Mike (an anthropomorphized microphone) is an old-school comedian living in a comedically woke world. And thanks to fame + social media, he just got cancelled. This would normally be a bad thing but for Mike it’s a gift in disguise. It’s what drives him home to Whitefish, Montana where he reconnects to the one who got away, his best friend, plus a colorful cast of lovable and sometimes hatable characters.

What do you get if you fund our little film?

What’s the plan?
